I am delighted to share that ‘eDesk Smart Inbox’ has been announced as the winner of Deloitte Ireland’s Fast 50 ‘Innovative New Technology Award’ in association with Google. This Deloitte award honours eDesk for our professional customer support software for eCommerce businesses worldwide. It is fantastic for eDesk to be recognised for our growth and progress in streamlining customer service through AI advancements, and supporting online retailers to sell more. A crowning conclusion to an exciting 2021 – and we have also been ranked among the top fastest growing Irish technology companies!

Over the past two years, the global pandemic has forced changes in retail with a shift from the high street to online. Companies have had to adapt and accelerate their digital operations, including how they manage customer support queries. The team at eDesk continuously invests in artificial intelligence to deliver a breakthrough in customer support email management. eDesk’s Smart Inbox can now sort and organise emails into tasks by examining the text from incoming queries. I am delighted for the team’s dedication and hard work to be recognised tonight at the virtual awards ceremony. 

Paddy Flynn on behalf of Google, celebrated eDesk’s growth and commitment to R&D and innovative technologies, ‘eDesk consolidates customer interactions from the user’s webstore, marketplaces and social channels into a centralised dashboard, enabling agents to work remotely and seamlessly across all sales channels. The platform allows retailers to harness the intelligence of data generated through all customer interactions, improving productivity and profitability through task automation, competitive benchmarking and commercial insight.’

Our investment in innovation has been transformative, enabling our customers to give an extraordinary service, which has in turn contributed to our accelerated growth in recent years. The Deloitte Ireland Technology Fast 50 program acknowledges companies for their rapid revenue growth and innovation, so we are honoured to be ranked among the 50 fastest-growing companies in the Irish technology sector. In the last 18 months, eDesk’s product revenue has experienced triple digit percentage growth, with excellent customer retention. This commercial success has been reflected in online reviews, with our Trustpilot score standing at a healthy 4.8, and we are immensely proud and delighted our customers rate us highly. 

Despite the uncertainty brought by Covid-19, our revenue and headcount continues to increase, with almost half of our employees joining remotely since the start of the pandemic. Lockdowns forced a pause on our physical expansion plans but in early 2022, we hope to open an office in Boston.
